Actress Park So-dam, "It took 8 months for my voice to come back after cancer surgery."
On the 11th, actors Park So-dam and Seo In-guk from TV's original series 'Lee Jae, I'll Die Soon' appeared as guests on the YouTube channel 'Cho Hyun-ah's Thursday Night'.
Park So-dam made a solo appearance in the released ‘[SUB]. Actually, it's not a solo appearance, I just came to hang out with Seo In-guk. In fact, I didn't even come to visit l EP.50 l Jo Hyun-ah's Thursday Night l Seo In-guk Park So-dam' Park So-dam confessed the difficult process of undergoing surgery for papillary thyroid cancer.
Park So-dam said that when she received the script for 'Lee Jae, I'm Dying Soon', she had just had cancer surgery. She said, "It was a time when my voice couldn't come out and my throat couldn't work at all. Usually, when I receive a work, I read it immersed in my role. I think I watched this work because I was immersed in Choi Lee-jae (Seo In-guk)."
He added, "I think I tried to show my good self. The thing I hear most from people around me is, 'Sodam, you look comfortable these days. You look good.' My health and mental state have improved to the point where I can do it with confidence."
Park So-dam revealed in 2021 that she was suffering from breast cancer and completed surgery. He also shared his thoughts on returning on January 16, 2023. After recovering his health, he returned through the movie 'Ghost', which was released in January.
Meanwhile, TV's original series 'Lee Jae, I'm Dying Soon', starring Park So-dam and Seo In-guk, is a life-changing drama in which Lee Jae, who is on the verge of falling into hell, experiences death and life 12 times. Part 1 will be released on December 15, 2023, and Part 2 will be released on January 5, 2024.
