'Sweet Home 2' Song Kang "I gained 7kg to expose my naked body, and the shame is gone."

'Sweet Home 2', which was released on the 1st, is a world where desire becomes a monster, Hyun-soo (played by Song Kang) and the survivors of Green Home, who leave Green Home and fight each other to survive in a new home, and the lives of another being. A work that depicts new desires, events, and struggles, including the emergence and unknown mysterious phenomena.
Song Kang became a hot topic with his nude scene in 'Sweet Home 2'. In response, Song Kang said, "It became a hot topic," and smiled awkwardly, "I gained more than the burden. I think by doing that, I lost a lot of the shame in acting. There may be likes and dislikes, but it was a natural choice and I have no regrets."
He also explained why he gained weight in Season 2 compared to Season 1. Song Kang said, "In Season 1, he lived a hikikomori life, turned into a monster at the end, and then returned to human form. In Season 2, the moment he moved with Pyeon Sang-wook (played by Lee Jin-wook), he turned into a monster and grew bigger. “I agreed with the director and decided to break free from being a hikikomori,” he said.
Song Gang is said to have gained about 6 to 7 kg from his original weight. He said, "I went to the gym twice a day and ate more. My exercise focused on pumping and bulking up, and I did high weight and low repetitions, bench press, deadlift, etc. Lee Jin-wook is very strong. Without working out, I can't do anything." “I had no choice but to work hard because I couldn’t endure it,” he said.
When asked if he was satisfied with the result, Song Kang said, "I think it came out very well. The action director said he liked the body because it was so big. He said it looked stronger than a monster."
