Sayuri, a well-known television personality, recently opened up about her family's struggles with cancer, revealing that both her mother and father have been diagnosed with the disease.

On October 10, a video titled "Sayuri's Silver Spoon 45-Year Life Summary feat. Mom, Dad, and Zen" was uploaded to her channel, 'Sayuri's Death Note.'

In the video, Sayuri invited her parents to her home. She mentioned, "Mom's hair is a wig," to which her mother responded, "I'm better now, but I had cancer," explaining the reason for her short hair.

Her mother then removed her wig, stating, "I have regained my health." Sayuri lightened the mood by joking, "Mom's hair looks like a Yorkshire Terrier."

Sayuri then asked her father, "Why didn't you come to take care of Zen?" He revealed, "I was in the hospital with prostate cancer. I'm a 76-year-old prostate cancer patient and have started hormone therapy," adding, "I've stopped male hormones and am receiving female hormones."

Sayuri expressed her distress, saying, "As soon as mom recovered from cancer, dad was diagnosed. It seems like illnesses are taking turns as they age."

In 2020, Sayuri became a single mother by choice, giving birth to her son Zen through a sperm donation from a Western donor. She continues to engage with the public through her parenting journey and television appearances.
