Lee Seung-gi, KBS Couple Award "I have plans to fight in 2023"
They received the Best Couple Award at the '2022 KBS Drama Awards', which was broadcast live at KBS Hall in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul at 9:30 pm on the 31st.
On this day, Seung-gi Lee said, “It is unfortunate that Se-young Lee was unable to attend due to unavoidable circumstances. “I am both disappointed and bitter because I received the award alone,” he said.
He then revealed the reason for the unconventional hairstyle, saying, “Many people assume that I cut my hair short for personal reasons or a change of heart, but that is not the case at all.”
He actively explained his shaved head style, saying, "It's because I'm playing the role of a head monk in the 'Big Family' movie I'm currently filming."
Also, when asked about his activity plans for 2023, Lee Seung-gi said, "I have activity plans and fight plans as well." He continued, "I felt like many people were cautious about what they said in front of me, so I told them first. As for my activities, I am filming the movie 'Big Family' with actress Kang Han-na in 2023, so I think I will greet them with a movie, and I will continue with entertainment as usual." “I think I’ll say hello through that too,” he said.
Meanwhile, Lee Seung-gi has recently been in conflict with his agency Hook Entertainment over settlement and treatment. He sent a proof of contents to Hook Entertainment, saying that he had not received payment for the music profits for 137 songs released over the 18 years since his debut. Afterwards, when Hook Entertainment paid tens of won in the name of 'unpaid balance', Lee Seung-gi announced on the 16th that he would donate the entire amount, no matter how much the unsettled amount was.
