Jang Wonyoung says goodbye after 1 year and 4 months
Ive's Jang Won-young, who was active as the MC of KBS2's 'Music Bank' for about 1 year and 4 months starting in October 2021, said a sad farewell at the end of the broadcast on the 13th.
Meanwhile, Jang Won-young served as the 37th president of 'Music Bank' and received a lot of love for leading the live broadcast with her fresh and lovely visuals and stable and agile hosting skills. Jang Won-young, who drew attention every week not only for her hosting skills but also for her unique styling, earned the nickname 'Cherry Rabbit Bank President' and brought vitality to the program even though she was her first music broadcast MC.
Jang Won-young, who finished the last broadcast, said through her agency Starship Entertainment, “I spent 1 year and 4 months with ‘Music Bank’, waiting for every Friday. “Being able to have fun talking with respected seniors and juniors and fellow artists every week, enjoying K-pop together, and being able to communicate with fans were all very precious experiences for me,” he said.
He added, “It was a great honor for me to be the president of ‘Music Bank,’ which I have always followed since I was young. I will use my experience hosting ‘Music Bank’ as a stepping stone to greet you in a more mature way.”
Jang Won-young, who showed smooth hosting through 'Music Bank' MC, was recognized for her ability and became the youngest ever MC for the '2022 Asia Artist Awards IN JAPAN' for two consecutive years, as well as the '2022 KBS Song Festival' MC. He showed off his skills as a hosting veteran both overseas and domestically, including being selected for the program.
