Reality Show Stars Go Min-young and Lee Joo-hwi Announce Engagement
Go Min-young shared the exciting news on her social media, writing, "I have news to share, so I'm carefully writing this long message." In the accompanying video, Lee Joo-hwi is seen on one knee, presenting a ring to Go Min-young.
Reflecting on their relationship, Go Min-young said, "I still vividly remember the moment I wrote that he was the only man I regretted breaking up with. It's a bit embarrassing and awkward to introduce him again like this, but can I now introduce him as 'the person I've decided to spend my life with'?"
She continued, "We met in our early twenties when I dreamed of a winter in New York. As I turned thirty, we went there, and he proposed. It was the first time I saw him cry. As he asked me to marry him with teary eyes in the cold New York, all the moments from when we first met until now flashed before my eyes."
Recalling their journey, she added, "In the five years we've been together, the first two years were like a happy puppy love. The next two years were spent trying to force things to fit, leaving us with scars. The last year, we felt an indescribable affection and love for each other."
She concluded, "Naturally, we started thinking about the future. We will live well. The times ahead may be unfamiliar, but we'll carefully navigate them."
Go Min-young and Lee Joo-hwi appeared on the first season of the TVING show 'Transit Love' in 2021, where they successfully rekindled their relationship. They are the first couple from the show to get married. The wedding is set for December 5th this year.
