Not only was it the beginning of a pleasant and warm story created by various characters, but Jeon Do-yeon and Jung Kyung-ho's Tiki Taka chemistry was also perfect, raising expectations for the story to unfold in earnest and drawing a warm response.

Accordingly, the viewership rating for the first episode of 'Ilta Scandal' recorded an average of 4.3% and a peak of 5.8% in the metropolitan area, and an average of 4% and a peak of 5.2% nationwide. The broadcast on this day opened with the appearance of Nam Haeng-seon (played by Jeon Do-yeon), the owner of a side dish store, who, unlike other mothers who run and wait in line to secure their children's academy seats every morning, goes shopping every morning and rides a scooter. Choi Chi-yeol (played by Jeong Kyung-ho), who first appeared wearing the Kingsman style, was filming a promotional video for his lecture. Fierce actively cooperated with the director's various requests. However, when the director told him to do it for 10 more minutes, he said that his nickname was 'the trillion won man' and calculated on the spot that the value of those 10 minutes was 17 million won, showing off the qualities of a math instructor.

The sight of Chi Chi giving a lecture in front of a large number of students was also impressive. He shows off his proficient writing skills, uses new words freely, interacts with students, and even sets the mood with his signature kicks. This is because he caught everyone's attention by showing off the force of an instructor without any filtering. In particular, the sight of students showering him with gifts after finishing his lecture made him realize his popularity.

However, Chi-chi Chi, an extremely popular instructor, also had his own difficulties. Not only was he unable to eat properly due to an eating disorder, but an accident occurred where a student, an avid fan, showed up and randomly entered the house just as he was about to go home after finishing his schedule. Because it was late at night, he personally called a taxi and sent the student home safely, but in the end, the incident took an unexpected turn and posed a crisis to Chi Chi. An exquisite photo taken by a student who had trespassed into his home was posted on Yeolgong.com (a community where test takers exchange information about college entrance exams), causing outrage. Hearing this news, Fierce finally collapsed, canceled class, and went to the hospital.

At that time, Haengseon was also at the hospital. This is because he had to rush to the hospital with his younger brother Nam Jae-woo (played by Oh Eui-sik), who suddenly developed a high fever the day before. Jae-woo, who was in the midst of a wild beast, was discharged from the hospital when he noticed Chi-kyeol wearing clothes with a large tiger on them and started taking pictures. Chi-kyeok misunderstood that he was taking a picture of himself in front of the urology department and tried to delete the photo from Jae-woo's cell phone. Haeng-seon appeared at the moment of an argument with Jae-woo, who did not easily hand over his cell phone. While trying to stop the two people, Haeng-seon's shove pushed Chi-kyeol to the ground, and when people's attention was focused on him, he chose to run away with Jae-woo's cell phone. This was not a course to be tolerated quietly. The chase that took place as they began to furiously chase after the fleeing fierce battle caused laughter. Fierce, who was hiding in the men's bathroom of a building, could not avoid the line that was waiting right in front of him. He threw Jae-woo's cell phone at Haeng-seon, who was running towards him at a frightening pace, and Haeng-seon was frustrated when he saw the horribly broken cell phone. This is how the evil-like relationship between the two began, heightening interest in its subsequent development.

Meanwhile, Haeng-seon and Hae-i (played by Noh Yoon-seo) had a hidden story. Hae-i is sad that he failed the mock exam, but returns home after being hit by a sudden downpour of rain. Instead of worrying, when her mother Haeng-seon told her to bake hotteok to comfort Jae-woo, who was upset because his cell phone was broken, she said harshly, "Is it because you're a stepmother?" and left the house. Afterwards, the two met at the playground. Haeng-seon made a gesture of reconciliation in his own way, saying, “What kind of stepmother am I?” and coolly accepted Hae-i’s apology for being wrong. However, without passing by Hae-i, who was different from usual, I asked what was going on, and in the end, Hae-i confessed one thing she had been holding back for fear of having a hard time traveling: that she wanted to listen to a lecture by Choi Chi-yeol, a math instructor.

After a noisier day than ever, Chi-kyeol returned home and ate a lunch box from the ‘national side dish store’ prepared by Manager Ji Dong-hee (played by Shin Jae-ha). Unlike other foods where he couldn't even finish a single bite, Chi-cheol, who ate the entire lunch box for the first time in a long time, was filled with indescribable emotions and even had tears in his eyes. And from Hae-i's words, Haeng-seon learns about the existence of 'Ilta Instructor Choi Chi-yeol'. The ending was completed with the intersection between two people from different worlds, opening the curtain to their bittersweet romance in an exciting way.

'Ilta Scandal' really hit the taste of viewers with its cheerful and witty charm and the activities of its colorful characters. Jeon Do-yeon and Jung Kyung-ho once again proved their true value with their ability to portray characters in a 'sticky' manner, and the tiki-taka chemistry between the two, which began with them growling at each other, raised expectations for the romantic comedy chemistry that will begin in earnest. In the epilogue, a huge promotional plan card of Chi-yeol is shown behind the image of Haeng-seon, who cannot even guess that the main character who broke his younger brother's cell phone is Choi Chi-yeol, a math instructor, amplifying curiosity about the story the two will unfold in the future. Attention is being paid to how the romance between Nam Haeng-seon and Choi Chi-yeol, who have just found their intersection, will unfold.

Meanwhile, episode 2 of tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Ilta Scandal' will be broadcast at 9:10 pm today (15th).
