Kim Gura revealed his thoughts on the 'Radio Star' crisis.

On the afternoon of the 18th, a press conference commemorating the 800th episode of 'Radio Star' was held at the MBC building in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. MCs Kim Kook-jin, Kim Gura, Yoo Se-yoon, Ahn Young-mi and PD Lee Yun-hwa attended the meeting.

On this day, Kim Gu-ra compared 'Radio Star' to old restaurants and said, "These days, old restaurants are traditional and very hot."

He continued, "In the past, improvisation was actually required on set. Guests were pushed hard and there were times when they said things they shouldn't have said, so it was fun to go on air. But these days, even when a teenage contestant comes, they help him." “I don't say things that I can't do, and even if I do, I sometimes ask for it to be re-edited,” he said about the changes.

Kim Gu-ra also said, “We are a talk show that runs under the right circumstances, but we have no choice but to try to entertain 10 to 20% of the people on site.” He added, “Many people are still trying to come out, but the time when I felt that it was a real crisis was when I heard what Yoon Jong-shin said.” explained.

He said, "Actually, talk shows are always the same. The talk show situation hasn't gotten much better, and these days, it's not easy to talk about deep things during interviews, so we hit a wall with each other." He added, "One of the things Yoon Jong-shin told me is that I have fun. He confessed, “I left 'Radio Star' for a refresher, saying there was no such thing.” Kim Gu-ra also explained, “I think the crisis was when we ourselves said, 'It's not fun to do it on our own,'” adding, “Fortunately, I personally haven't experienced anything like that yet.”
