The drama 'Love in Blue', which was first released on December 9th last year, is currently capturing attention in the web drama world, with the cumulative number of views from episodes 1 to 6 exceeding 1.5 million as of the 18th. The heat continues.
Set in the near future of 2032, 'Love in Blue' (written by Kim Byeong-won, directed by Nam-cheol Lee, planned by Cheol Lee, produced by Low Carbon) is set in the near future of 2032, where humanity is living in a world where the nature that humans used to enjoy is no longer taken for granted due to a climate catastrophe. It is a human comedy drama about the survival story of Jae-Hwa (played by Kim Yun-seo) and Uranus (played by Jang Se-won), who want to regain nature while fighting for survival.
In the play, Recycling and Uranus are continuing research on carbon neutrality measures together to prevent climate change. In particular, the 5th episode, in which Hwang Po-jip (played by Jo Se-pil), Jeon Cheo-ri (played by Kim Do-hyung), and even the spy traitor (played by Yeon Mi-joo) join the 'research to save the Earth' and form the 'Avengers' team, received 380,000 views (1 (as of the 18th of the month), it achieved the highest number of views among the 6 episodes, proving the high interest of viewers in the research team's progress. In particular, actor Yoon Ki-won, who plays the role of the climate agency commissioner, emerged as a hot topic by sharing the news of their relationship, and also contributed to the rise of 'Love in Blue' by winning on entertainment programs such as SBS' 'Single for Men' and ENA's 'Hyojachon'.
Meanwhile, in 'Love in Blue', a traitor is struggling to find out the core research technology under the orders of Environment Minister Sanseongbi (played by Cha Sun-bae) and Emissions Control (played by Yoon Ki-won). Acid Rain and Emissions are planning to trample on Jaehwa and Uranus, which are a thorn in the eye, if their research fails, and steal the results if the research is successful, raising questions about what the future will be like for the Jaehwa and Uranus research teams.
In the last 5 episodes, the carbon dioxide reduction device, which was the result of the research, was put into operation, but the research team despaired due to the insignificant results. But resourcefulness and Uranus found an unexpected solution. How they will overcome the crisis of research interruption will be revealed in episode 7 of 'Love in Blue', which will be released on the 20th.
The new concept green drama 'Love in Blue', which continues to raise the topic of environmental issues by exceeding 1 million views in cumulative views, is released every Friday at midnight on 'Low Carbon (@lowcarbonkorea)' YouTube.
