In the KBS2 Lunar New Year special Songolmae concert 'Flight after 40 years' broadcast on the 21st, Bae Cheol-soo confessed his disappointment to KBS.

Bae Cheol-soo and Gu Chang-mo recalled memorable moments during their Songolmae activities. Bae Cheol-soo said, “I am a person who is very dissatisfied with KBS. Koo Chang-mo went out as a solo singer and took first place in the ‘Kpop Top Ten’ with ‘Heenari’. “Why are you coming to me and asking for an interview?” he said. “With the most pitiful face in the world, I said, ‘I’m happy that Koo Chang-mo came in first place. “I still think that Gu Chang-mo is a member of the Songol Mae,” he said, replaying the interview at the time.

The interview video in question has been released. Gu Chang-mo said, “Bae Cheol-soo spoke calmly, but in fact, it was cruel.” Bae Cheol-soo then said, “How can you think of coming to interview me? He complained, “It’s against the rules.”

Bae Cheol-soo said, “It’s because I have a pitiful face, but my feelings are real. “At the moment of leaving, I felt a little sad because I was human, but I really hoped that Gu Chang-mo would do well,” he said. “If Gu Chang-mo had continued with Songolmae instead of leaving, it would have really done well.” When Koo Chang-mo was around, he ranked first in the ‘Gayo Top Ten’ list for 10 consecutive weeks. “After I left, I only lasted a week,” he joked.

In response, Koo Chang-mo said, “Didn’t you make a hit song called ‘Gather Together’ after I left? “The moment I heard the lyrics, I thought Bae Cheol-soo’s style of lyrics was born.”
