Rowoon, acting as a single at the age of 27, "The material from 'Wedding Battle' is refreshing."

On the afternoon of the 30th, a production presentation for KBS2's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Wedding Battle' was held at The Saint in Guro-gu, Seoul. Director Hwang Seung-gi and actor Rowoon Jo Yi-hyun attended.
Regarding the character Shim Jeong-woo in the play, Rowoon said, "At the age of 17, he gets married against his will. The princess dies on the day of the wedding, so he becomes her sire. He appeals to the king for an 'annulment of marriage' for 8 years. He has the mental state and emotions of a 17-year-old. He said, “He is a character who is at a standstill. He is a character who has cut off relationships with people around him and learns the world through books at home. That is why he has ‘old power.’ He is a character who learns the world through books, not people.”
He added, “The material was fresh. “When will I ever try acting as a single at this age?” he began. He went on to explain, “Rather than focusing on single people, I wanted to play a character who lives in confinement.”
'Wedding Battle' is a matchmaking comic melodrama about the struggle between Sim Jeong-woo (Ro-woon), a sire from the Joseon Dynasty, and Jeong Sun-deok (Jo Yi-hyun), a maid and miner, who engage in a 'wedding battle'. ‘Wedding Battle’ will be broadcast at 9:45 pm on the 30th.
