Ha Dong-geun additionally passes 'Mr. Trot' for the second time in a row

At the end of the 7th episode of TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot 2 - The Beginning of a New Legend' broadcast on the 2nd, Ha Dong-geun was named as an additional successful candidate for the 'Death Match' and received enthusiastic applause from everyone.
Previously, Ha Dong-geun sang 'Love' during the 'Master Preliminary Trial' and received rave reviews from the masters as well as 'All Hearts', but he faced a difficult time in the second round of the finals. They bravely nominated Kim Yong-pil, a strong candidate for the championship, and staged the first 'Death Match'. At that time, Ha Dong-geun selected and sang Yoon Bok-hee's 'Why Do You Look Back' passionately, and lost to Kim Yong-pil despite rave reviews from masters such as Park Seon-ju, Jang Yun-jeong, and Hyun Young. The masters were distressed, saying, “Both of them had great performances, but it’s so hard to choose one,” and Ha Dong-geun was unfortunately a candidate for elimination.
Nevertheless, the 'results announcement' scene after the two people's confrontation attracted explosive attention, recording the highest viewership rating per minute of the 5th episode, 22.4% (Nielsen Korea tally). Ha Dong-geun also received comments such as “I lost well” (I lost but fought well). As if meeting viewers' expectations, Ha Dong-geun was listed as an 'additional candidate' at the end of episode 7 and earned the nickname 'Trot Phoenix'.
Furthermore, Ha Dong-geun is also attracting attention as a 'scene stealer' in every episode. Not only did he make the other contestants laugh by showing off his 'real reactions' on stage, but in the 6th episode, he took on the health functional food PPL with Lee Chan-seong and performed a 'comedy'-level skit. Expectations and interest are focused on what kind of charm Ha Dong-geun, who not only sings but also acts as an atmosphere maker, will show in the upcoming third round of the finals, 'Medley Team Mission', with 'Reaction True', 'Human Vitamin', and 'Dong Geun-hae'.
