'Jjinchin' Cho Jin-woong and Choi Won-young, life and hardship healing camp

‘Jjinchin’ Cho Jin-woong, Choi Won-young, Park Myung-hoon, and Kwon Yul had a wild camping trip in Spain. The four people expressed their 'life and hardships' but were confident that they had captured the beauty of Mother Nature and their close chemistry.

On the 2nd, a production presentation for tvN's new entertainment show 'Europe Outside the Tent - Spain' (hereinafter referred to as 'Europe Outside the Tent') was held at the Grand Ballroom of the Stanford Hotel in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Producers Kang Gung, Hong Jin-joo, and actors Cho Jin-woong, Choi Won-young, Park Myung-hoon, and Kwon Yul attended.

‘Europe Outside the Tent’ is a camping entertainment show that travels around Europe in a free way, using camping sites instead of hotels, rental cars instead of trains, and local supermarkets instead of restaurants.

Producer Kang Gung said about this program, "It is a program where you drive yourself instead of public transportation, stay at a camping site instead of a hotel, and buy ingredients at a local supermarket instead of going to a restaurant and cook your own food. When it comes to travel programs, it introduces tourist attractions, restaurants, etc. "That's the main thing. But we might not be able to go to a tourist attraction, or we might fail because we chose the wrong restaurant. We might go to a tourist attraction but not be able to go in because we didn't make a reservation. The memories from here were great," he introduced. In response, Cho Jin-woong said, “Why didn’t you tell me in advance?” and “I also wanted to go to a tourist attraction and a hotel,” making everyone laugh.

In Season 1 of ‘Europe Outside the Tent’, which aired in August last year, Yoo Hae-jin, Jin Seon-gyu, Park Ji-hwan, and Yoon Kyun-sang visited Switzerland and Italy. This Spanish episode focuses on Cho Jin-woong, and Choi Won-young, Park Myung-hoon, and Kwon Yul, who are close friends with Cho Jin-woong, show off their 'strong chemistry' together.

Cho Jin-woong revealed, "The production team went on a field trip two weeks before filming. They say the weather was quite nice, but I think the sudden change in 22 weeks was the production team's intention." He then said, “I personally experienced the seriousness of abnormal climate, it is a problem that needs to be seriously considered and solved,” and added, “Rather than enjoying it because it is an entertainment show, I am grateful to the production team for allowing me to experience for myself how serious the Earth’s climate change is.” He made people laugh.

Kwon Yul recalled the difficult but enjoyable filming site of ‘Europe Outside the Tent’. Kwon Yul remembered, "It was an angry, difficult, and arduous schedule at the time, but when I think about it now, it remains as a memory and I miss it. When I think about all the moments back then that I wish would pass quickly, they were beautiful and brilliant when I think about them now."

In ‘Europe Outside the Tent’, Kwon Yul was the youngest, but he played a big role as an errand boy and secretary. Cho Jin-woong drew laughter by revealing, "Kwon Yul is nominally the general manager, but it was a coercive fiscal austerity policy," and that "three people joined forces to prevent the general manager's abuse of power." However, he expressed his gratitude, saying, "Kwon Yul sacrificed himself in many ways. The combination of the three foolish people was completed. Anyway, in order to survive, I think Kwon Yul was a sacrificial person and served his brothers. I value that point highly."

Kwon Yul said, "I remember the first day vividly. When I got home, I thought, 'I want to go home quickly.' When I laid down in bed, my body felt comfortable, but there was an emptiness as if I could hear my brothers calling me from somewhere." said. He then boasted of his best friend chemistry, saying, "I went to my manager's wedding about five days later, and the two of us were sitting together, so I got a little PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). But when we talked again, I felt like I was back in my hometown."

Park Myung-hoon made everyone laugh by saying that the reason he decided to appear in 'Europe Outside the Tent' was "because I was able to leave the house legally." He continued, "It was difficult, but it was fun. It's an unforgettable memory. I've never seen 20cm of snow fall in Korea, but when there was an abnormal weather event, PD Kang Gung, who has kind eyes, looked sad but smiled. When the actors were having a hard time, the production crew was smiling." He joked.

Cho Jin-woong, Kwon Yul, and Choi Won-young are members of the same agency and close colleagues. Here, the addition of Park Myung-hoon created synergy. Choi Won-young said, “We are old colleagues, friends, and loved ones who we can enjoy seeing in private. If you just look at the keyword camping, you might think it would be fun, but we went because we had a mission for the viewers. Jin-woong is my friend and favorite person of the same age. “I was very excited because we were colleagues and I thought going on a trip together was something I couldn’t experience except during my school days. It was nice to be able to join Yul as well. I got to see her new side, her lovely side, and her true side,” he said.

Choi Won-young said about each person's role in the program, "Spain is an exotic place and an unfamiliar place for camping, so experience or familiarity was not allowed. In hindsight, like water flowing along with the laws of nature, each person must take care of their own place for survival." “I think I went looking for it,” he said. He also said, "I did a camping program a long time ago, and the camping experience humbled me in front of Spain's great nature. I learned, 'Let's be humble in front of nature.'"

Regarding the point to watch, PD Kang Gung said, "During the trip, if you say something, they don't take it kindly. They say different things to each other, but they are close." He added, "They bicker and scold each other, but the chemistry and relationship between close friends is an important point to watch." Park Myung-hoon said, "There were many difficult moments, such as fights, ups and downs, and unexpected weather, but it was all a memory and a happy memory. I hope that viewers will feel our sincerity and that this program will become a page of good memories." . Jo Jin-woong said, “I can say, ‘I thought it was a variety show, but it was sincere until the end.’ Kwon Yul asked us to go on a trip without a camera again.”
