In KBS 2TV's 'New Product Release' (hereinafter referred to as 'Pyeon Restaurant'), which aired on the 3rd, the results of the menu competition on the theme of 'hangover' were revealed. Among powerful chefs with winning experience, including Ryu Soo-young, a trustworthy and delicious chef, Korean food genius Cha Jang-geum, Cha Ye-ryun, returning Copy Jeong Jeong Sang-hoon, and original sexy man Park Soo-hong, the winner and launch honor went to Ryu Soo-young. Ryu Soo-young achieved a record of 10 wins with the pork and red pepper paste stew recipe, which she worked hard on for a year and a half.

On this day, Ryu Soo-young continued his taste journey in Gwangju. Ryu Soo-young, who was introduced to the hangover menu 'Kijogae-tang' that can only be eaten here, even went so far as to personally scout restaurants. As a result, Ryu Soo-young was able to taste not only Kijogae-tang, which can be said to be the best of the best hangover menus, but also grilled Kidjogae, which boasts the ultimate flavor combination. Ryu Soo-young's mukbang, in which viewers were constantly left with exclamations of "Oh my," made viewers drool.

Ryu Soo-young began creating the final menu. The menu he chose was ‘Gochujang stew’. First, Ryu Soo-young prepared fatty pork belly. Unlike usually using broth to flavor stew, Ryu Soo-young decided to flavor the stew by making red pepper oil using meat oil. Ryu Soo-young showed off a fantastic red pepper paste stew using red pepper paste, soy sauce, anchovy sauce, salted shrimp, and sugar. Above all, the cooking sense using ‘salt shrimp’ stood out.

Ryu Soo-young added onions, potatoes, tofu, and zucchini and simmered them. At the end, a little vinegar was added to add flavor. The red pepper paste stew with plenty of meat is ready to fill your heart. It was a pork belly stew with red peppers that made my mouth water at its bright red appearance and brought back my appetite after just one bite. Kim Bo-min, who encountered Ryu Soo-young's red pepper paste stew, was impressed, saying, "It's a menu that kills three birds with one stone, including a meal, snack, and hangover."

The group Enmix appeared as a special evaluation panel. Nmix showed their determination by saying, “We are a team that is serious about food.” When Ryu Soo-young's pork and red pepper paste stew appeared, the Nmix members' tension exploded. “It’s delicious,” “The pork belly melts,” “I feel warm inside,” etc. Above all, even Bae, one of the members who is new to spicy food, was impressed, saying, "It's so delicious to mix potatoes with rice. I think even beginners to spicy food will enjoy it."

Chef Lee Yeon-bok, the head of the menu evaluation team, praised Ryu Soo-young's pork and red pepper paste stew, saying, "After eating one spoonful, I turn around and eat again. The texture is good. I really fell in love with it." As a result, Ryu Soo-young's pork and red pepper paste stew won the final victory in the 'Haejang' menu competition. With this win, Ryu Soo-young achieved a whopping 10 wins.
