Jaehyun Ahn "I didn't want to take my hands and eyes off the script"

Actor Ahn Jae-hyun, who returned to the small screen after three years through KBS2's new weekend drama 'The Real Thing Has Appeared!', shared his affectionate thoughts.

'The Real Thing Has Appeared!', which will be aired for the first time on the 25th, is a romance story between a single mother and an unmarried man and a fake contract surrounding the 'real' baby in her womb. It tells the story of the family's ups and downs growing up as they become 'Avengers' through pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare. It is a humanistic family drama.

Ahn Jae-hyun plays the role of Gong Tae-kyung, an obstetrician and gynecologist infertility clinic specialist with a strong family and excellent skills. Gong Tae-kyung doesn't want to create a tiring cycle called family, so she maintains a peaceful 'non-marriage principle', but when she meets Oh Yeon-du (played by Baek Jin-hee), she encounters an unexpected situation.

Ahead of the first broadcast, Ahn Jae-hyun revealed the reason for choosing the work, saying, "When I first received the synopsis and script, the situation of the work was clearly pictured in my head, so it didn't take long to read it." He then boasted about the ‘real’ charm of the work, saying, “The charm of ‘The Real Thing Has Appeared’ is that you don’t want to take your hands and eyes off the script.” Previously, Kwak Si-yang was chosen to play the role of Gong Tae-gong, but he left the role due to scheduling issues.

Also, Ahn Jae-hyun said, “Gong Tae-kyung looks hard, but he has the charm of being soft on the inside. He appealed the charm of the role of Gong Tae-kyung, saying, “He may appear to be a character with no shortcomings, but he is actually a pitiful character who is stingy in expressing his emotions because he has no one to rely on.”

Ahn Jae-hyun introduced the keywords for the character of 'Gong Tae-kyung', which he will play, as 'firmness', 'will', and 'strong and weak'. “Gong Tae-kyung has the firmness to not bend his thoughts. He expressed his affection for his role by choosing three keywords, saying, “He is not easily dragged into anything and acts according to his own will, and he is strong to the strong and weak to the weak, so ‘strong and weak’ suits Gong Tae-kyung.”

Lastly, Ahn Jae-hyun left a warm greeting, saying, “‘The real thing has appeared!’ containing the warm and cool scent of spring will come to you soon.”
