'Peak Time' Kim Hyeon-jae, suspected of 'school violence' arose
While Kim Hyeon-jae (Black Six The King), a participant in JTBC's survival entertainment program 'Peak Time', was embroiled in suspicions of school violence, the production team began to confirm.
On the 6th, an article revealing that Kim Hyun-jae was a perpetrator of school violence in the past spread through an online community.
Mr. A, who claims to be an elementary school and middle school classmate of Kim Hyeonjae, claimed that he was bullied by Kim Hyeonjae, saying, "I suffered from bullying and verbal abuse. I don't want to remember it, but I still remember it all and it's painful."
In particular, Mr. A confessed that he even considered taking the extreme step, saying, "I could not stand it and reported it as school violence, but due to the nature of the rural area and the parents knew each other, it was resolved with the thought that 'kids can do that to each other'." He added that he never received an apology from Kim Hyeonjae and was treated like he didn't exist. He also confessed, “When I watched it again on the air, I started to feel anxious and felt uncomfortable and nauseous.” Amidst the recent uproar over the issue of school violence involving cast members such as 'Physical: 100' and 'Burning Trotman' Hwang Young-woong, 'Peak Time' has also drawn attention to the revelations that have emerged. Accordingly, an official from 'Peak Time' said on the 7th, "We are verifying the facts."
Hyeonjae Kim, who was identified as the perpetrator, is currently appearing as a member of Team 24 Hour. Attention is focused on what position the production team will take.
Meanwhile, 'Peak Time' is a team survival show where active idols, idols who have taken a break from their careers, and disbanded idols gather together to compete. The production team of 'Singer Gain', which gave popularity to unknown singers such as Lee Seung-yoon and Lee Moo-jin, received attention with a new entertainment show. Lee Seung-gi is the MC for 'Singer Gain' and 'Peak Time'.
