Baek Jong-won, ‘Business Genius Baeksajang’ premieres on April 2nd
‘Business Genius Baeksajang’ is a program in which Baek Jong-won, a Korean restaurant management expert, takes on the challenge of starting a business and operating it in a wasteland of Korean cuisine. It is also called ‘Baek Jong-won’s challenge to become a global rice seller.’ The first teaser video, which was released along with the launch news last week, attracted attention by revealing the struggles of Baek Jong-won, who is selling food to locals at a street restaurant in an African region, along with actor Lee Jang-woo, who recently started a restaurant, and BamBam, a popular entertainment star these days.
And in the second teaser video released today (7th) by 'Business Genius Baeksajang' announcing the first broadcast on April 2, the true nature of the 'store', which even Baek Jong-won was surprised by, was revealed. To the production crew, “Here? Baek Jong-won, who confirmed, “Really?”, was in such an ‘empty’ place that he literally had a ‘mental breakdown’. Baek Jong-won ended up “heading to the ground” in an unfamiliar region of Africa, which could be said to be a wasteland of Korean food. The main point of interest in 'Business Genius Baeksajang' is whether Baek Jong-won can succeed overseas without any experience or knowledge of Korean food.
