'Model Taxi 2' is continuing its unstoppable box office run with variations in various genres.

SBS' Friday-Saturday drama 'Model Taxi 2' is showing an upward trend, exceeding the highest viewership rating of 19.7% (based on Nielsen Korea's metropolitan area) in the third week of broadcast.

Writer Oh Sang-ho, who wrote the 'Model Taxi' series before its first broadcast, said, "If season 1 focused on building the world view of 'Model Taxi,' in season 2, let's try a more colorful and bold variation of the genre based on the completed world view. “We agreed with the director on this direction,” he said, and chose ‘variations in the genre’ as one of the viewing points of Season 2. As writer Oh Sang-ho hinted, 'Model Taxi 2' is providing a variety of fun to viewers by changing the level of comedy, the tone of drama, and even the genre according to the design of Kim Do-gi (Lee Je-hoon), the designer of the multiple agency service in the play.

The first episode of 'Model Taxi 2', 'Overseas Employed Youth Confinement and Assault Case', was an exhilarating action film that took down a violent organization that exploited young people to create an illegal gambling site, along with Do-gi's humorous undercover performance while working undercover. Season 2 opened with excitement. In the second episode, 'Elderly Fraud', all of the 'Rainbow Five' joined in as secondary characters and infiltrated a rural area undercover. The sly performance of the 'Rainbow Five' to defraud the fraudsters gave us belly laughs as if we were watching a sitcom set in a rural setting. Furthermore, in the most recently aired episode 5, Do-gi suddenly marries Go-eun (played by Pyo Ye-jin) in order to approach an 'illegal real estate broker', and introduces 'newlywed secondary characters', providing sweet fun like a romantic comedy drama.
