Lee Sang-min settles 7 billion debt, ending debtor concept after 17 years

The SBS entertainment show 'My Little Old Boy' (hereinafter referred to as 'My Little Old Boy'), which aired on the 19th, depicted the story of Lee Sang-min, who went to Jeju with the dream of finding a new home.
On this day, while traveling in a car with Tak Jae-hoon and Kim Jun-ho, Lee Sang-min said, “Sang-min Lee’s new life will begin between fall and winter this year. “All debts will be paid off,” he said. This was the first debt settlement in 17 years.
When Lee Sang-min said, “There was no limit,” Seo Jang-hoon said, “I went through a lot of hard work. Many people misunderstood in the middle. A few years ago, they said it would only take a year and that everything would be repaid, but there were many ups and downs. Something that wasn't there before appeared again. “It was a lot of hard work,” he explained.
Lee Sang-min, who had accumulated debt amounting to 6.9 billion won due to a past business failure, was liquidated and went into personal bankruptcy as most of the debt was due to the company's corporate financing. Even though he can receive legal help, such as corporate bankruptcy, he has stated that he has not filed for bankruptcy and is working hard to repay the debt on his own.
However, last year, controversy over the debtor concept arose when it was said that the remaining debt from 'Single for Men' went from 900 million won to 1.64 billion won. An additional 740 million won was added. This is because I did not understand the situation where debts were increasing while earning a huge amount of appearance fees and living in a 2 million won monthly rent house. Accordingly, Lee Sang-min explained that the reason the debt increased was because some creditors demanded more than the original repayment amount due to interest and long-term debt.
Lee Sang-min was about to move this summer due to the expiration of the contract for the Paju house where he lives. He said that after paying off all his debt, he wants to come to Jeju Island and live like Tak Jae-hoon. “I want to live in Jeju Island, so I decided on different price ranges, from the price I can afford to the price range my brother can move in to the price Junho can move in with Jimin.” He said he came to Jeju Island to look at a house. Tak Jae-hoon was embarrassed and said, “I already have a house,” and Kim Jun-ho also said, “I have no intention of coming to Jeju and living there.”

Lee Sang-min, who was looking around the house, asked, “Brother, how much cash do you have? How much money does Junho have for his wedding? Is it not possible for the three of us to join forces? Hyung, please call Jang Hoon. “How much loan can you give me?” he said, expressing his desire to buy a house even if he had to borrow money.
Tak Jae-hoon responded, “Why am I calling Jang-hoon? “Don’t call me, just come to the studio,” Kim Jun-ho responded, “I got greedy and owed you money again. How old will you be in the next 17 years? “If you go into debt again, it’s not a debt, it’s a debt,” he said.
The second stone wall house in Jeju Island was called Gamseong House and was priced at 750 million won. Lee Sang-min, along with Tak Jae-hoon and Kim Jun-ho, tried to save money to buy one, and Tak Jae-hoon, who fell into an open-air bath, said, “To be honest, I want to buy it, but I don’t have the money. “I also took out a loan,” he confessed, and when Lee Sang-min asked him to take out another loan, he refused, saying, “Are you collecting debtors to succeed you?”
