Sunye turns into a musical actress while raising three daughters

On the JTBC Newsroom broadcast on the 19th, Sunye, who attempted her first musical performance with 'Ruth', appeared.

Sunye, who debuted in the girl group Wonder Girls in 2007, married a missionary in 2013 and left the group in 2015. Sunye said, "I am now back after 10 years of raising children. There were aspects of my life as a mother and wife that I had not developed before, but thanks to that time, I feel like it has become easier to take on the challenge of acting." He added, "It was fun when I actually got into it. There's still a long way to go, but I'm having a lot of fun with it. I'm putting all my energy into it."
Sunye said, "You can think of 'Ruth' as an interesting love story about a character from the Bible. Personally, when choosing a work, I had a lot of desire for the character Ruth that I wanted to portray. Ruth is a character who has experienced many twists and turns. "A lot of the challenging choices Ruth made were challenging for me as well. There were some similarities with other times in my life, so I felt like I wanted to try it myself," he explained.

Also, "When the members (Wonder Girls) and PD Park Jin-young started the program last year, they cheered me on by telling many people, 'It is a beautiful thing to be able to give a lot of strength' and 'Work hard' because of my challenge. “I was really proud and it made me think that I really need to work harder in the future,” he said with a smile.
Sunye mentioned the Wonder Girls reunion. He said, “Everyone seems to be thinking positively, and a good time will come.” He added, “You don’t know what happens to other people, right? So I’m also looking forward to it. I want to play ballad songs to my fans before the end of the year. Actually, it’s something I’ve wanted for a long time. “I’m trying hard to prepare,” he said.
