Ha Seung-jin, “I don’t give leadership to children.”
KBS 2TV's family travel variety show 'Walking Into the Wonders' (hereinafter referred to as 'Walking into the Wonders') features the ups and downs of overseas trips of seemingly different star families. The story of a trip to Da Nang, Vietnam unfolds with a new combination never seen before, including the wife and children of former tallest basketball player Seung-jin Ha, his older sister Eun-ju Ha, his father, his sister-in-law, and his mother-in-law.
The 11th episode of 'Girl's Return', which airs at 9:25 pm on the 26th, depicts Ha Eun-joo and Ha Seung-jin's one-day family trip to Danang, Vietnam. From the first day, as the crazy schedule fueled by the greed of 'first tour designer' Ha Seung-jin unfolded, a crisis arose where the entire family, including the wife and two children, as well as the father and mother-in-law, revolted.
From the time he arrived in Da Nang, Ha Seung-jin skipped hotel check-in and marched on. After visiting 'Han' Market to wear Ao Dai, which is said to be a must-do for shopping in Da Nang, he then visited Asia Park, saying it was a place prepared for children. When Ha Seung-jin even skipped meals to keep up with his tight schedule, the first to get angry at Ha Seung-jin's arbitrary actions were his son Ha Ji-hoon and daughter Ha Ji-hae.
Ha Ji-hoon, who is afraid of amusement rides, made everyone laugh by revealing his true feelings, saying, "If I were to describe my dad in one word, he would be 'annoying,'" as his dad only rode rides that were only for adults, regardless of his will. Daughter Ji-hae also said that the only thing left was pictures, and to her father who asked her to take pictures whenever she moved to a location, she called out to stop the trip by asking “When are we going to the hotel?” and “Are we going to the hotel now?” Even my older sister, Ha Eun-ju, couldn't bear it anymore and let out her built-up anger, saying, "We've been running around for 15 hours, including our flight. Is this enough self-denial training? I have the worst trip today."
In response, Ha Seung-jin surprised everyone by revealing his own parenting method, firmly saying, "I raise my children strong. I don't give them the lead." You can see what Ha Seung-jin's promotion tour was like, which brought about a crisis by causing a rebellion among seven families, in episode 11 of 'Gulhwanjang'.
