Comedian Kim Mi-ryeo Opens Up About Her 13-Year Marriage and Family Life
During the show, Kim Mi-ryeo discussed her marriage to actor Jung Sung-yoon and their parenting style for their two children. She revealed, “My husband is quite energetic. While my enthusiasm has waned a bit, he still seems to enjoy it. Just a touch is enough for him.” She added, “We sleep in separate rooms, but that doesn't mean it only happens in the bedroom. We often target the kitchen,” leaving Lee Sun-min in shock.
Recalling their first meeting, Kim Mi-ryeo said, “We first met at a radio program MT event and had a sort of undefined relationship for about six months. At some point, his gaze changed. We spent six months without any physical contact.” She continued, “On December 23rd, we had another gathering, and he offered to drive me home. He kissed me in front of my house, and that was the unspoken start of our official relationship.” She added humorously, “The very next day, on Christmas Eve, we had a party at my house, and we let out everything we had held back for six months.”
The couple dated officially for about two years before marrying in 2013. They welcomed their first daughter a year later and their second son in 2018, now living happily as a family of four. Before marriage, Jung Sung-yoon was actively involved in commercials, dramas, and films but has since focused more on parenting and household duties, allowing Kim Mi-ryeo to pursue her broadcasting career more vigorously.
On the show, Kim Mi-ryeo shared humorous anecdotes about her husband's persistent desires and discussed proper sex education for their children, delivering spicy and candid talk. The episode also featured witty humor from Lee Kyung-sil and Jo Hye-ryun, matching the guest's level.
Meanwhile, 'New Woman' has revamped its format to create a more relaxed atmosphere for conversations, moving away from the traditional studio setting. The show, featuring lively and meaningful chats from Lee Kyung-sil and Jo Hye-ryun, along with unique chemistry between Lee Sun-min and the guests, continues to be well-received.
