Actress Park Won-sook shed tears as she thought of her son who passed away in a car accident 20 years ago.

On KBS2's 'Let's Live Together', which aired on the 4th, relationship counseling expert Dr. Son Kyung-i appeared as a special guest.

On this day, Park Won-sook said, “After losing my son in an accident and dealing with my feelings for a long time, I was recommended psychological therapy by my younger brother. So I went to the hospital once, but I haven't received any more treatment since. “I didn’t want it to be revealed, so I kept it tight,” he said.

He continued, “I got a call from a man not long ago. ‘Are you Teacher Park Won-sook? He cried, saying, ‘I am the one who deserves to be beaten by the teacher.’ Then he said he would call again and hung up. At first, I was scared and eerie for no reason, but suddenly I thought, 'Could it be the person who caused the accident?' A thought occurred to me. “I didn’t know who that person was and I didn’t want to know, so I just kept it covered.”

Park Won-sook said, “At the time of the accident, I told the driver not to impose any punishment. Only now did I wonder if he wanted to be forgiven by me. I just press on the wound to avoid touching it, but people come and go once anyway. “It was a great comfort to me when an acquaintance said to me, ‘We are all on the train, and your son just went to the sleeper car a little earlier,’” he said. “I think that driver is right, but what should I do?”

In the end, Park Won-sook burst into tears when Son Kyeong-ah said, “Thank you so much for telling me.” “I’m not touching that area at all. It’s a big wound, so I’m just pressing it. I don’t know if the person who called was the driver or not. The doctor signed the autograph. Even when I was talking about it, I said, ‘Don’t talk about it.’ I didn’t even see the article that came out,” he said, adding, “Should I get counseling?” Son Kyung-i comforted him by saying, "You cried too much. I just wanted to tell you. It must have been difficult."

Park Won-sook said, “I lived thinking that my work was for my son, but in reality, I think I was doing what I liked. “Even if I do my best as a mother, it hurts my heart to go through something like that, but I felt so sorry that I couldn’t even say I was sorry for my poor mother going through something like that,” she sobbed.

He continued, “After winning an award for ‘Land,’ I was being interviewed at home, and a reporter asked my son, ‘Aren’t you having a hard time because of your mother’s absence?’ At that time, my son said, ‘I am proud and grateful that my mother is Park Won-sook.’ “I really want to say I’m sorry when we meet again later,” he confessed.

In an interview with the production team, Park Won-sook confessed, "It exploded like a grenade with a safety pin pulled out. I wonder if this process was necessary at least once. I felt like I had exploded a heart that I knew about but had ignored."
