EXID Hani "I was attracted to his 'crazy side'"

On the 13th, I met actress Ahn Hee-yeon, who appeared in Disney+'s 'Say It's Love', at the Sublime headquarters in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul. Ahn Hee-yeon played the role of Kang Min-young, an ex-girlfriend who suddenly announced a breakup to her long-time lover, Han Dong-jin (played by Kim Young-kwang), through a wedding invitation, but regrets it and tries to regain her past love.
Ahn Hee-yeon said, "It was a challenging character for me. I was very scared, but I thought, 'I don't know,' but I am proud that I finished it well. I received a lot of help from the people who acted with me." He continued, "Isn't there a typical image that comes to mind when you think of your first love and ex-girlfriend? I thought of an image of someone with long, straight hair, delicate, and wearing a white dress. So I wondered if I could do this and if it would be a nuisance. "I was worried about whether it would fit well in appearance. Also, this character's personality was not familiar to me. There was a gap with my personality. I was worried about whether I would be able to express it well."
Kang Min-young breaks up with her ex-boyfriend Han Dong-jin by giving him a wedding invitation to marry someone else. Ahn Hee-yeon said that she was more attracted to the character's 'crazy side'. He said, "He was bad and selfish. He had no consideration for the people closest to him until the very end. He only thought about himself until the end. If you look at the situation alone, you could say he was crazy. But when you live, isn't everyone's situation different? That's everyday life. That person. “If you look into the true intentions and circumstances, there is nothing you cannot understand,” he said. He continued, "I wanted to understand Minyoung, who can be said to be a bad person. I understand and sympathize with her, so viewers will also see it. The director also wanted that and said he wanted all the characters in the play to be understood and sympathized. At the same time, I became more in sync with the director. “I think they cast me because I felt like a puppy getting caught in the rain. I thought that kind of image would be helpful for viewers to understand.”
When Min-young asked why she had no choice but to act like that, Ahn Hee-yeon said, "I think she wanted to hold on to her and give her confidence. Only later did Min-young realize that confidence cannot be given by others. When she said goodbye like that, He explained, “It must have been a state of earnestness that said, ‘Please love me even when I say this,’ and ‘If you do that, I will be able to trust you.’”
‘Say It’s Love’ is an emotional romance between a woman, Shim Woo-joo (played by Lee Sung-kyung), who is eager to seek revenge, and a man, Han Dong-jin, who becomes the target of revenge, a man and a woman who should never have met. All episodes were released until the last episode on the 12th.
