Jo Yi-hyun, new 'Wedding Battle' co-star with Rowoon

According to a media outlet on the 17th, it was confirmed that Jo Yi-hyeon was cast in the role of Jeong Soon-deok, the female protagonist of the new drama 'Wedding Battle'.
'Wedding Battle' is a historical drama that depicts the wedding battle between a widow and a miner during the Joseon Dynasty. A matchmaking comic melodrama in which Cheongsang widow Jeong Soon-deok and Hanyang's most grumpy man Cheongsang sire Shim Jeong-woo join forces to marry the representative women of Joseon.
Jo Yi-hyun transforms into Jeong Sun-deok, a widow living a double life as a daughter-in-law in Bukchon at night and a room seller during the day. Jeong Sun-deok is a character who not only reads a lot of romance novels, but also secretly learns martial arts and has unrivaled walking and running skills.
It was previously reported that SF9's Rowoon was offered the role of Sim Jeong-woo in 'Wedding Battle' and was being considered.
'Wedding Battle' was produced by FNC Story, written by writer Ha Soo-jin of KBS 2TV's 'Daebak Real Estate', and directed by Hwang Seung-gi of KBS 2TV's 'Start-Up', 'Justice', and 'Radio Romance'.
