But Seo Jeong-hee was different. Seo Jeong-hee still thought that Seo Se-won did it out of love for her. Seo Jeong-hee said, “My son told me that I lived like a typical heretic,” and “(Seo Se-won) didn’t tell me not to see him, and I didn’t do it when he told me not to contact him.”

Dr. Oh Eun-young said firmly, "I don't think it was love. I'm saying it wasn't love because it didn't help the other person grow." Seo Jeong-hee, who heard this, shed tears and said, "I got married when I was 19, and now I am over 60 years old. Does that mean my whole life has been wrong?"

Seo Jeong-hee married Seo Se-won in 1983 and has a daughter, Seo Dong-ju, and a son, Seo Dong-cheon. In 2014, it was reported that Seo Se-won assaulted Seo Jeong-hee, causing an uproar in the world. The following year, the two divorced, and Seo Se-won was sentenced to six months in prison and two years of probation on charges including assaulting Seo Jeong-hee.

Seo Se-won died at the age of 68 on the 20th of last month at a hospital in Cambodia after receiving an IV. Seo Se-won is said to have suffered from diabetes as a chronic disease during her lifetime, but it has not been revealed whether it was related to her death.

The recording of the broadcast in which Seo Jeong-hee appeared was made before Seo Se-won's death, and is scheduled to be broadcast on the 12th.
