Joo Hyun-mi and Lim Dong-shin had a reason to get married after a secret relationship.
Trot singer Joo Hyun-mi revealed the story of her secret love affair with her husband Lim Dong-seon.

In the 200th episode of TV Chosun's 'Gourmet Heo Young-man's Baekban Travels' (hereinafter referred to as 'Baekban Travels'), which aired on the 12th, Trot queen Joo Hyun-mi joined the Yeouido spring outing taste trip.

On this day, Joo Hyun-mi recalled, "When I was a rookie, I lived in Yeouido," and "I did a lot of broadcasting. So, they said my nickname was Faucet. They said that if you turn it on, it will come out."

Joo Hyun-mi was also famous as a pharmacist-turned-singer. He said, "I opened my own business as soon as I graduated. I opened a pharmacy at the end of the neighborhood, in the corner of Pil-dong." Meanwhile, a composer who had worked on an album with Joo Hyun-mi when she was young came to see her and suggested that she try singing again.

Joo Hyun-mi, who made her official debut in 1985 with 'Rainy Yeongdong Bridge', became a hit with each song she released and was on the rise to popularity. But there were also difficulties. Because their faces are known, they have never been able to date outdoors.

Joo Hyun-mi's husband is Lim Dong-shin, who previously worked as a guitarist in the band 'Cho Yong-pil and the Great Birth'. Joo Hyun-mi attracted attention by suddenly getting married at the age of 28, when she was at the peak of her popularity.

Joo Hyun-mi said she met Im Dong-shin for the first time during a performance, and said, "I toured the U.S. with Cho Yong-pil, Great Birth, Lee Joo-il, Nam Bowon, Insooni, and Nami seniors. I went to the performance for 40 days. I had to see it every time I opened my eyes and eat together. Adults were separate. “We gathered together for drinks and became close friends by playing guitar and talking about music,” he said.

He then confessed that his secret relationship was revealed, saying, "I was very careful because I was afraid that Cho Yong-pil would notice. But later, after we got married, he said, 'We all knew that you guys were like that.'"
