Actor Ra Mi-ran played a character in the terminal stage of stomach cancer, but said that he failed to become emaciated.

On the 8th, I had an interview with actress Ra Mi-ran at a cafe in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at the end of the JTBC drama 'Bad Mother'.

'Bad Mother' tells the story of a mother, Young-soon (Ra Mi-ran), who had no choice but to be a bad mother for her child, and her son Kang-ho (Lee Do-hyun), who became a child in an unexpected accident, in search of lost happiness. Ra Mi-ran played the role of Jin Young-sook, who volunteered to be a bad mother in order not to inherit the pain of poverty and ignorance while raising her son while running a pig farm alone.

Ra Mi-ran said, "As expected, episode 14 was short and easy. I was also a bit disappointed. At the beginning, I told the writer to put more effort into it, that I didn't want to finish it in a hurry, and that it would be nice to have about 16 episodes, but I think it ended well." We filmed from September of last year to March of this year. It was a very happy time. There were many scenes with the people of Jouri village, so it reminded me of performing in the past, and it was so nice that people were repeating it like in 'Reply 1988'." He gave his impressions of the ending.

This work was a character with a lot of emotional consumption, such as a tear scene. In response, Ra Mi-ran said, "There were many cases where there was an emotional scene from the first scene in the morning. That's why there were many cases where the eyes were always swollen. It could be because I ate salty food the day before." It was like that after pouring in. It's amazing that if the script is well written, emotions arise naturally, so I didn't have to worry about emotional acting."

He continued, "There has never been a work where the acting of tears has been done to this extent. I even reduced it a lot. There were many scenes where I was afraid that tears would come out. There were also cases where tears came out in unexpected places. wrote," he added.

Ra Mi-ran played a character with 'end stage stomach cancer', but said that she failed to become emaciated. "It's because of my lack of management. I ended up pulling it together. But I can control everything, so please call it weak-willed.”
