ATEEZ won again, standing tall as the best idol certified 'Immortal'... Going to 'The King of Kings'
According to Nielsen Korea, an audience rating research institute, KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Song' (directed by Park Min-jung, Park Hyung-geun, Shin Su-jeong, and Lee Hee-seong), episode 611, recorded 5.0% nationwide and 4.6% in the metropolitan area, ranking first in the same time slot on Saturday. This is the 26th consecutive week at the same time combined.
Episode 611 of KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Song', which aired on the 17th (Sat), was decorated with 'Cheer Up, Uniformed Heroes' in celebration of the month of Patriots and Patriots in June, and Bada, Son Jun-ho & Kim So-hyun, Bada, La Poem, ATEEZ, Min A total of 6 teams, including Woohyuk and THE NEW SIX (TNX), took part in the contest.
Prior to the full-scale contest, 32 civil servants dressed in uniforms took the opening stage and delivered a special impression. The public officials on the stage divided the parts and showed off their outstanding singing skills and beautiful harmony, capturing the attention. He sang the solo song 'I'm No Problem' in a Modest Stage Manner and showed off his strong charm with a Modest Stage Manner. The scenes of the uniformed officials behind the stage sweating on the scene were displayed on the screen, creating an impression.
The protagonists of the first stage were Son Jun-ho and Kim So-hyun. Kim So-hyun greeted the uniformed civil servants and their families, saying, “Thank you for standing by like friends for us,” and sang “You, My Friend.” The soft and heavy voices of Son Jun-ho and Kim So-hyun's clear and powerful voices harmonized and conveyed emotion. The magnificent finale created by the couple's perfect breathing drew applause. ATEEZ Yunho admired, saying, "Even the tone matched perfectly, and the message of the song was conveyed even better because the senior couple sang it."
Bada took over the baton and took the second stage. The flashy stage set stood out as the sea wished to capture the image of a firefighter putting out a fire through the stage of 'Like a Flame'. Bada caught everyone's attention at once with an intense performance, and then pierced the eardrums with her unique cool singing ability. The members of La Poem were amazed at the sea where they placed 5 precursors while dancing, saying, “I think each precursor can exceed 1 round.” The choice of the uniformed master song judges was Son Jun-ho & Kim So-hyun.
The third stage was La Poem. La Poem selected 'Song of the Wind' shouting "Fighting with confidence as prepared". La Poem showed off the charm of the quartet and filled the stage abundantly. The four members showed off their charms with their own voice characteristics. The lyrics of the song 'I will love everything in this world' touched the hearts of the master song judges and moved them greatly. Bada said, “La Poem itself for choosing this song was a foul,” and Min Woo-hyuk commented, “It was truly healing.” The masterpiece judges once again chose Son Jun-ho & Kim So-hyun.
ATEEZ, the strongest idol of 'Immortal', took the fourth stage. ATEEZ, dressed in stylish uniforms, showed off their strong momentum with 'Gale Road'. ATEEZ portrayed the passion of uniformed officials in three dimensions through performances using props such as tables and flags, stabbing high notes and pouring rapping. In particular, ATEEZ left an impression by giving a respectful salute to the uniformed civil servants at the end of the stage.
Min Woo-hyuk was called in the following order and performed the fifth stage. Min Woo-hyuk selected 'My love like starlight' and interpreted the song with his own color, boasting a stormy voice. Min Woo-hyeok sang with the feelings of desperate love and moved the audience. At the end of the stage, she cried and said, “Thank you.” Son Jun-ho, who is said to be best friends with Min Woo-hyuk, was jealous and laughed, saying, “It’s too much, too much.” ATEEZ defeated Min Woo-hyeok and won 2 wins.
The finale stage was decorated by THE NEW SIX (TNX), and the confrontation with ATEEZ was concluded. THE NEW SIX (TNX) selected 'Red Sunset' and dominated the stage with youthful and refreshing charm. Even though it was their first appearance, THE NEW SIX (TNX) showed off their energy to the fullest. The eye-catching performance and cheerful atmosphere provided healing. Kim So-hyun said, “I think the charm of ‘Immortal’ is that a new group reinterprets a classic song and all generations can sing it together.”
The choice of the uniformed master song judges was ATEEZ. ATEEZ increased their winning rate by winning 4 championship trophies in 6 appearances. It was the moment when the ambition of “I will go to ‘The King of Kings’ with the championship trophy” was realized.
In this special feature, I was able to feel the sincerity of the featured artists who thanked the public officials in uniform for their hard work and delivered messages of support for Korea and its people. Also, it was a time for ATEEZ, who reigned as the strongest 'Immortal' idol, to take a step forward while proving their skills once again.
