Yoo Jae-suk Takes on Role of Short-Form Drama Director on 'Hangout with Yoo'
In the episode, Yoo Jae-suk, along with Haha, Heo Kyung-hwan, and Joo Woo-jae, was seen actively casting for the short-form drama production.
As the director, Yoo Jae-suk conducted interviews for assistant directors, writers, and actors. Short-form dramas, known for their fast-paced and straightforward content, are currently trending among the MZ generation.
Yoo Jae-suk asked Joo Woo-jae about the possibility of casting Bae Woo-seok, to which Joo replied, "I can call him and ask, but are you using me as a stepping stone?" expressing his dissatisfaction.
Joo Woo-jae showed his willingness to work hard, saying, "As long as I'm not just a casting step, I'll do my best," but Yoo Jae-suk humorously responded, "Then you can't work with us." Haha, aspiring to be an actor, reenacted 'Infinite Company' but humorously admitted his acting had regressed over the past decade.
Yoo Jae-suk, wanting to solidify the story with AI, mentioned his desire to cast IU and Bae Woo-seok, stating, "I'll persuade them rather than pay them." Haha humorously exposed, "He always says there's no budget while taking his salary." Yoo Jae-suk retorted, "I'll make them leave on their own."
Meanwhile, the short drama directed by Yoo Jae-suk is titled 'I Decided to Take Back the Woman My Brother Stole,' featuring a mix of revenge, romance, and medical genres, raising expectations.
