Sistar's Soyou and Hyolyn Showcase Strong Bond on 'Knowing Bros'

On the latest episode of JTBC's 'Knowing Bros,' Sistar's Hyolyn proudly showcased her enduring friendship with her fellow members.

The episode, aired on the 2nd, featured appearances by Lee Gi-kwang, Soyou, Sandeul, and Sung Han-bin.

During the show, the members brought attention to Kim Shin-young, who previously made headlines for her dramatic weight loss from 88kg to 44kg. However, she candidly shared that she has since regained the weight, stating, "My weight returned in just six weeks."

Soyou, who recently lost 20kg in six months, explained, "My body changes depending on whether I'm singing ballads or dancing. When dancing, exposure requires muscles to look good." She further revealed her fitness secrets, saying, "I used to lift heavy weights, but it made me look bulky. Last year, I focused on bodyweight exercises and cardio."

When asked about her weight loss experience, Kim Shin-young remarked, "The world feels like a sandpit. It makes you sensitive," to which Soyou agreed.

Flower boy Sung Han-bin confessed, "I weighed around 100kg as a child, and my nickname was 'Fatty.'" Kang Ho-dong humorously asked, "Does that mean if I lose weight, I can look like Han-bin?" Kim Shin-young jokingly replied, "You'd have to shave your bones," eliciting laughter.

Meanwhile, Soyou revealed, "I witnessed Kim Hee-chul fighting. Hee-chul and Leeteuk had a fight." When asked if she intervened, she humorously replied, "Why would I stop a fight? They're not my team," drawing laughter.

Soyou's comment that "Sistar hardly ever fights" prompted Kim Hee-chul to tease, "There's a comment saying 'The Four Heavenly Kings don't fight.'"

Kim Shin-young disclosed, "Girl groups used to walk quietly past Sistar's waiting room," to which Sandeul and Lee Gi-kwang added, "We tiptoed past Sistar's waiting room without making a sound," causing laughter.

Soyou expressed her respect and friendship with Hyolyn, saying, "I still use formal language with Hyolyn unnie." Kim Hee-chul joked, "Even a slight touch can be a fatal blow," adding to the humor.
