'Master Kim 3' Kim Min-jae "Increased weight by 4 kg for the scene of taking off, I hope Season 4 will come out"
On the 19th, at a cafe located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, I met actor Kim Min-jae and conducted an interview at the end of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 3'.
The SBS 'Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim' series depicts the story of a 'real doctor' taking place in a poor local Doldam Hospital. In the play, Kim Min-jae took on the role of Park Eun-tak, who overcame a painful past and became a nurse, and worked together from season 1 to season 3.
Comparing Season 1 with Park Eun-tak in Season 3, Min-jae Kim said, "The character Eun-tak has aged and has a trauma center, so there is a difference in weight. I tried to show my improved skills, and I tried to express the feeling of returning as a solid pillar." said.
He also changed his outward appearance. Kim Min-jae said that he wanted to express the strong figure of the character, "I liked the body of season 3 the best. There was a scene where I took off my clothes, so I had to work out harder in a short time. I also cut my hair short to show a more manly appearance. I weighed about 4kg. increased," he said.
He also expressed his anticipation for season 4. Kim Min-jae said, "Since the season 3 finale, many staff and actors have been shouting for season 4. As a fan of 'Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim', I really want season 4 to come out. Even if I don't appear in season 1," Kim Min-jae said. I didn't know I was going to do season 2, and I didn't know I was going to do season 3 even when I was in season 2. I think I'll wait for about 3 years this time. I'm very happy with this work as an actor, but I also like the message and emotion as a fan watching it."
