'D,P' (Diffy), which garnered attention with its fresh subject matter of the deserter arrest team and a poignant message about the absurd system, is back with Season 2 after two years.

On the morning of the 18th, the Netflix 'DP' season 2 production presentation was held at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, Seoul. Actors Jung Hae-in, Koo Kyo-hwan, Kim Seong-gyun, Son Seok-gu, Ji Jin-hee, Kim Ji-hyeon and director Han Jun-hee attended the event.

Son Seok-gu did not comment on the recent 'fake acting' remarks on this day. Previously, at a press conference for the play “Army on the Tree” held on the 27th of last month, Son Seok-gu said, “(In the play) I didn’t understand why they made fake acting that shouldn’t be whispered. So I quit and went to the movie.” Nam Myeong-ryeol, a 20-year-old theater actor, became a hot topic when he publicly sniped at him for being "arrogant."

Season 2 of 'DP' is a Netflix series that tells the story of Junho (Jung Hae-in) and Ho-yeol (Koo Kyo-hyeon), who are part of the military service arrest team (DP), constantly encountering unchanging reality and absurdities.

'DP' season 2 starts from season 1 part 7, not from season 2 part 1. In response, director Han Joon-hee said, "Season 1 ended with a big incident in episode 6, the last episode of season 1. It's a story that continues straight after that, so I wanted to show how the incident affected the characters and what changes occurred, so I decided to do 7. It starts with wealth,” he explained.

Will there be any repercussions that 'DP' season 2 will bring? Director Han Joon-hee said, "I didn't expect the impact of season 1. I thought a lot while making season 2. We ask questions, but don't decide on answers. Season 2 is a sad story. It's not about a specific institution or group. Jung Hae-in confidently said, "In Season 1, there are stories that have not been finished yet, and there are parts that need to be resolved. Season 1 of 'DP' received a great response that they felt PTSD. In Season 2, Jung Hae-in said, "I think you will be able to think a lot beyond individual PTSD. Rather than giving an answer, I think viewers will have different opinions because they have their own differences. There are also plenty to see." did.

When asked what changed in Season 2, Jung Hae-in said, "I became a private soldier. Jun-ho entered the military from season 1 and faced a lot while adapting. In season 2, he constantly throws question marks at absurdities." Koo Kyo-hwan said, "Because I became a sergeant, my hair length became very short."

Son Seok-gu, who plays Captain Lim Ji-seop, explained, "As an officer, I think I will be looking for a sense of responsibility." In response, director Han Joon-hee confidently said, "Not only Ji-seop's character, but all the characters show faces that were not shown in Season 1. There will be a different extreme from Season 1."

Son Seok-gu recalled, "It was like that the first day I started filming for season 2, and it was like that when I first got in touch with him. I was very calm.

Kim Seong-gyun, who plays Sergeant Park Beom-goo, caught the eye with his bright yellow-green outfit. When Park Kyung-lim, who was in charge of hosting, said, "Your outfit is gorgeous today," Kim Sung-kyun laughed, saying, "I'm the only one who can't always match the dress code."

Ji Jin-hee makes a special appearance in this season as Goo Ja-woon, head of the legal department at the army headquarters.
