NEXZ Showcases Teamwork and Creativity During First Group Vacation

The boy group NEXZ, under JYP Entertainment, has demonstrated their teamwork by creating content even during their vacation.

On the 27th, NEXZ (members Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Gun, Seita, Huey, and Yuki) held a media showcase at the Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their second single album 'Mmchk'.

During the event, member Tomoya shared behind-the-scenes stories from their first group vacation. For the first time since their debut, all seven members traveled together to Jeju Island for a 3-night, 4-day trip, which they also turned into content. The members expressed, "Since it was our first trip, we wanted to capture it on video. We filmed and edited it ourselves to show our fans, and the positive response made us proud."

Their ability to naturally create content even while resting aligns with the group's direction. Through 'NEXZ Archive', they have been expanding their connection with fans by showcasing dance content and self-produced teaser videos.

The group also emphasized their musical growth. The members stated, "With this album, NEXZ's unique color is more clearly expressed, and our enjoyment of the stage is naturally conveyed." They added, "By participating in both songwriting and choreography creation, we were able to better express each of the seven members' charms."

The album includes three tracks: the title song 'Mmchk', the track 'HYPEMAN', and 'Mmchk (English Version)'. Notably, members Tomoya, Huey, and Yuki contributed to the songwriting credits, drawing attention. Having consistently participated in songwriting for tracks like 'Next Zeneration' and 'Next To Me', NEXZ has further showcased their potential as a 'next-generation self-producing group' by contributing to all the tracks in this album.

Meanwhile, NEXZ's debut single 'Mmchk' is available for streaming on various online music platforms from 6 PM on the 27th.
