NEXZ's Yuki Shares Heartwarming Experience with Stray Kids' I.N
JYP Entertainment's boy group NEXZ, consisting of members Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Huey, and Yuki, held a media showcase on the 27th at the Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their second single album 'Mmchk'.
During the event, Yuki revealed behind-the-scenes details of filming the 'Mmchk' challenge with I.N. He said, "While filming the challenge with senior I.N, he spoke warmly to me and asked about my well-being with great care. Knowing we were about to make a comeback, he gave us words of encouragement, which was a great support."
He continued, "I was delighted when he said he liked our song, and it was an honor and joy when he called my name, saying 'Yuki, take care'. Thanks to him, I gained a lot of strength."
NEXZ is the first boy group JYP has introduced in about six years since Stray Kids. Seita commented, "At the time of our debut, I was just very happy. While following the path paved by our seniors, all the members are working hard to showcase NEXZ's unique color."
The album includes three tracks: the title song 'Mmchk', 'HYPEMAN', and 'Mmchk (English Version)'. Notably, members Tomoya, Huey, and Yuki participated in writing the lyrics, drawing attention. Having honed their songwriting skills in previous works like 'Next Zeneration' and 'Next To Me', NEXZ participated in writing all the songs on this album, showcasing their potential as a 'next-generation self-producing group'.
Meanwhile, NEXZ's second single 'Mmchk' is available on various online music sites from 6 PM on the 27th.
