Kim Jae-hwan Expresses Gratitude to Park Ji-hoon for Boosting Wanna One's Reunion Buzz
On the 20th, Kim Jae-hwan held a round interview at a cafe in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, to commemorate the release of his first single 'I'll Come Get You' after his military discharge, where he met with Ten Asia.
Kim Jae-hwan also mentioned the upcoming Mnet Plus reality show 'Wanna One Go: Back to Base', set to premiere on the 28th. He stated, "I'm not sure if Wanna One will engage in group music activities. There are many aspects we need to coordinate. We just hope for the best. Whenever I meet the members, we always talk about when we'll perform on stage again."
He added, "We're focused on filming the reality show. It's amazing how the atmosphere is exactly the same as when we were active. We've matured a bit since then, and there's more understanding and consideration among us. We're filming joyfully, as if we've returned to those days, laughing and crying without any discomfort. I believe the Wannables (fan club name) watching will feel the same emotions."
Kim Jae-hwan also expressed his gratitude to Park Ji-hoon, who became a million-seller actor with the movie 'The Man Living in the King'. He said, "Ji-hoon remains humble despite his success. He's always been the same Ji-hoon. Recently, I told him, 'You're our pride. Thanks to you, our buzz has increased.'"
Kim Jae-hwan revealed that his primary reason for singing in the future will be 'self-satisfaction'. He explained, "My enjoyment and fun come first. I used to think about how I would be perceived before my own satisfaction, but now I believe that if I enjoy it first, others will feel that joy too. It's important to envision and look forward to the future of my music career."
The digital single 'I'll Come Get You' is the first song he is releasing after his military discharge. It is a rock ballad conveying a message of love and comfort, promising to always be by the fans' side. During the album production, he showcased his producing skills by recording the guitar accompaniment himself and participating in writing and composing.
Meanwhile, Kim Jae-hwan's digital single 'I'll Come Get You' will be released on various music sites at 6 PM on the 22nd.
