K-pop group Cortis has armed themselves with candid charm.

Cortis, consisting of members Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, and Gunho, held a media showcase on the 20th at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their second mini-album 'GREENGREEN'.

During the event, the members highlighted honesty as the key to their music's appeal. Martin stated, "Since our first album, we've aimed to capture our genuine daily lives. As you can see from the tracklist of our second album, we prioritize portraying our true selves." Martin further expressed his ambition, "We want to become a team with symbolic significance, like a brand. We aim to grow into artists that people want to see perform live."

The concept photos for the new release capture the members in their rawest form. They participated in the shoot with minimal makeup, reflecting their input on styling. James explained, "We received minimal makeup to the point where you can see our skin texture. We wanted to show our real selves without embellishment. Even if our dark circles are visible, we wanted to present our true appearance."

Cortis will kick off their comeback activities by first unveiling the title track 'REDRED' from their upcoming release. 'REDRED' is characterized by its rough synthesizer and catchy, repetitive rhythm. All members contributed to the songwriting and composition, infusing the track with Cortis's unique style.

The new song 'REDRED' and its music video will be released at 6 PM today. Cortis's second mini-album 'GREENGREEN' is set for official release on May 4th.
