NEXZ Heats Up Comeback with 'Mmchk' Dance Challenge

JYP Entertainment's boy group NEXZ is turning up the heat for their comeback with a group dance challenge for their new song 'Mmchk'.

NEXZ, consisting of members Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Gun, Seita, Huey, and Yuki, is set to release their second single 'Mmchk' and its title track on the 27th. Ahead of the release, they have been unveiling various teaser content. On the 20th, they pre-released a challenge segment of the title track 'Mmchk' featuring the 'winning combination' of Tomoya and Yuu, known as JYP's next-generation dance talents. On the afternoon of the 21st, they posted a video of the seven-member group dance challenge, further heightening the anticipation.

The members showcased a synchronized group dance to the exhilarating rhythm, delivering a refreshing sense of excitement. Known for their outstanding dance skills in every comeback, as well as in their performance project 'NEXZ Archive' and the random play dance corner on the tvN variety show 'Fifteen Nights on a Business Trip X JYP Scout', they lived up to their reputation as a 'dance spoon group' with their captivating energy and presence. Their passion and vigor, along with the dynamic camera movements, added visual appeal and flair.

The highlight medley released on the 17th, showcasing the group's dazzling performance, has garnered attention and is nearing 1 million views on YouTube as of the afternoon of the 21st. The pre-released dance challenge video is also sparking the desire among K-pop fans to take on the challenge.

The new album 'Mmchk' includes three tracks: the title track, 'HYPEMAN', and 'Mmchk (English Version)' for global fans. Yuki, Huey, and Tomoya participated in writing the title track, while Yuki and Tomoya solely penned 'HYPEMAN', showcasing their musical talents.

NEXZ's second single 'Mmchk' will be released on April 27th at 6 PM. A comeback showcase, < NEXZ COMEBACK SHOWCASE 'Mmchk' >, will be held at 8 PM on the same day. Following this, they will perform on various stages, including a global showcase event, their first arena tour, and the massive Brazilian music festival 'Rock in Rio'.
