K-Pop Group (G)I-DLE to Release New Anime Opening Theme 'HIDE AND SEEK'

K-pop sensation (G)I-DLE is set to release a new track as the official opening theme for a Japanese anime.

The group, consisting of members Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua, will unveil the song 'HIDE AND SEEK' on October 22 across global music platforms. This track serves as the opening theme for the anime 'There Are No Kind Gals in Otaku?', a romantic comedy that follows the story of two gals and an otaku student bonding over shared interests. The anime has been airing on TV Asahi every Wednesday night since October 8.

This marks (G)I-DLE's second venture into anime music, following their previous contribution with 'Invincible' for 'Beyblade X Season 3'. The group has been expanding their reach by participating in various drama OSTs and now continues to captivate global audiences through anime.

In addition to their musical contributions, (G)I-DLE is actively engaging with fans in Japan. They concluded their first arena tour '2025 i-dle first japan tour '逢이-dle'' last year and are gearing up for their fourth world tour '2026 i-dle WORLD TOUR 'Syncopation' IN YOKOHAMA' scheduled for June.
