ENHYPEN's Jungwon Appointed as Ambassador for 2026 Seoul International Garden Expo
On the 17th, Belift Lab announced Jungwon's appointment as the ambassador. The 'Seoul International Garden Expo' is an event organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government since 2015, aimed at expanding garden culture and boosting related industries. Last year, it attracted over 10 million visitors, establishing itself as a major outdoor festival in Seoul. This year's event is set to take place from May 1 to October 27 in the Seoul Forest area of Seongdong-gu, marking its largest scale yet.
As an ambassador, Jungwon will participate in various activities to promote the expo. Plans include producing promotional videos, providing voice support for event announcements, and engaging in social media events, among other collaborations.
On the 17th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government released a global promotional video teaser on the expo's official YouTube channel. Under the theme 'A Garden Where Jungwon Stays, Seoul Forest', the video visually highlights the value of urban nature. It features Jungwon moving through Seoul Forest, blending with the natural scenery.
Kim Young-hwan, Director of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Garden City Bureau, stated, "We believe that through ENHYPEN's Jungwon, who has high recognition in the global market, we can effectively promote the value of Seoul's garden culture." He added, "We aim to spread the image of Seoul as a garden city worldwide through diverse content."
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN, the group Jungwon is part of, will embark on their fourth world tour, 'ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR 'BLOOD SAGA'', starting in May. The tour will kick off with performances at the KSPO DOME in Seoul Olympic Park from May 1 to 3, and will include 30 shows across 21 cities. The Seoul performances sold out during the fan club pre-sale.
