K-Pop Star Soyou Prepares for Comeback with Pre-Release Single 'See through'

K-pop singer Soyou is gearing up for her comeback with the release of a pre-release single ahead of her third EP.

On the 16th at 6 PM, Soyou will unveil 'See through', a track from her upcoming EP 'Off Hours', on various music streaming platforms.

'See through' is a pop R&B track that explores the emotion of attraction from an instinctive perspective rather than a calculated one. The song features a powerful beat complemented by Soyou's confident and subtly tense vocals.

The new song interprets the emotion of love through the lens of 'instinct', showcasing Soyou's honest and assertive attitude, and conveying the song's message through her musical energy.

The music video, released alongside the single, presents a new visual style for Soyou, breaking away from her previous image. Her agency, Magic Strawberry Sound, previously teased the video with a clip set in an unfamiliar space, showcasing a striking visual aesthetic.

Soyou debuted in 2010 with the group Sistar and has since established herself as a vocalist through her solo career. She has released several hit collaborations, including 'Stupid in love', 'Some (Feat. Lil Boi of Geeks)', and 'Rain', and contributed to popular drama soundtracks like 'Love in the Moonlight' and 'Goblin'. Since joining Magic Strawberry Sound in 2025, she has continued to develop her unique musical style, characterized by her husky voice.

Soyou's third EP 'Off Hours' is set to be officially released on the 29th at 6 PM. Prior to this, she will release the pre-release single 'See through' at 6 PM today.
