Kim Kyun-min of Totalset Honored with Producer Award at 2026 K-Trot Grand Awards

Kim Kyun-min, Chairman of Totalset, has once again been recognized for his contributions to the development of the popular music industry.

On November 11, Kim was awarded the prestigious Producer Award at the '2026 K-Trot Grand Awards (KTGA)' held at the Peace Palace of Kyung Hee University in Seoul. This accolade acknowledges his efforts in discovering artists with global potential in the trot market, which spans all generations, and providing them with unwavering support to fully showcase their talents.

Representing Kim at the ceremony were Totalset artists Park Goon, Sung Min, and Ahn Sung-hoon, who accepted the award on his behalf. The trio enlivened the event with their witty acceptance speeches and infectious energy, further enhancing the celebratory atmosphere.

For over 35 years, Kim has been a pivotal figure in the music industry, launching numerous popular artists such as Lula, Chakra, and Diva into stardom. Recently, he has established a formidable lineup in the trot genre, including legendary figures like Jin Sung and Han Hye-jin, as well as rising stars Park Goon, Ahn Sung-hoon, and Sung Min, who successfully transitioned from idol to trot singer. Promising talents like Oh Yoo-jin and Lee Soo-yeon are also part of his roster, solidifying his dominant presence in the trot market.

Kim's influence was previously recognized in 2021 with an award from the Korea Creative Content Agency and a commendation from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2024 for his impact on the popular music industry. This latest award further cements Totalset's esteemed reputation.

Totalset, under Kim's leadership, is home to trot artists such as Jin Sung, Han Hye-jin, Park Goon, Jung Da-kyung, Ahn Sung-hoon, Sung Min, Oh Yoo-jin, Samchongsa, and Lee Soo-yeon.
