Lee Soo-yeon Shines as Top 3 Finalist on 'Hyun-yeok Gawang 3'
On the episode of MBN's 'Hyun-yeok Gawang 3 Gala Show' aired on the 17th, Lee Soo-yeon showcased a variety of performances and shared candid behind-the-scenes stories. Opening the show with the song 'Hwanhee' alongside the TOP10 members, Lee, the youngest contestant, impressed with her powerful vocals and presence, setting the stage for a spectacular celebration.
Lee Soo-yeon delighted viewers with a special duet performance of 'Mongdangyeonpil' with Mai Jin, the runner-up of 'Hyun-yeok Gawang 1'. Set against a school backdrop, Lee exuded her unique innocent charm and displayed perfect harmony with Mai Jin, bringing smiles to the audience.
The emotional behind-the-scenes story of Lee Soo-yeon, who concluded her journey on 'Hyun-yeok Gawang 3', was also revealed. Due to regulations on minors appearing on live broadcasts, Lee had to watch the results with her grandfather, and she expressed deep gratitude to everyone who supported her, as she was moved by the final results surpassing her mid-competition ranking.
During the TOP7 press conference held the day after the finals, Lee's unexpected charm shone through. Initially unable to hide her nervousness, she soon displayed a lovely eye smile and responded calmly and maturely to numerous questions, showcasing her professionalism.
Lee Soo-yeon expressed her bold sentiments, saying, "It was a truly valuable and precious time to be recognized as an active singer, Lee Soo-yeon. Please continue to support me as an active singer." She then recreated the deep emotion of her competition days by performing 'Monologue', a stage that had previously earned high praise from composer Yoon Myung-sun during the third round of the finals.
