The rising K-pop group CORTIS is set to make their mark at the renowned Lollapalooza Chicago music festival.

CORTIS, consisting of members Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, and Gunho, will perform at the festival held from July 30 to August 2 at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois. They are the only K-pop boy group participating this year, and despite being newcomers with less than a year since their debut, they will have a solo stage performance.

Lollapalooza, which began in Chicago in 1991, is a massive outdoor summer music festival featuring over 170 artists and attracting more than 400,000 attendees over four days. This year's lineup, revealed on the 18th, includes Grammy Award-winning artists such as Charli XCX, Olivia Dean, and Lorde, alongside CORTIS.

Since their debut in August last year, CORTIS has quickly risen to global fame. Their debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' entered the US Billboard 200 chart at number 15 and surpassed 2 million copies in sales within six months, according to Circle Chart. It is the second K-pop debut album to achieve 'double million-seller' status. The album also exceeded 400 million streams on Spotify as of February 26.

CORTIS's performances consistently generate buzz. They were the first K-pop artists invited to headline the NBA Crossover concert series on February 13, which sold out quickly. On March 14, they performed the fourth segment before the finale at the '42nd Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2026 SPRING/SUMMER' in Japan.

CORTIS plans to release the title track of their new mini-album 'GREENGREEN' on April 20, with the full album, featuring six tracks, set for release on May 4. They are also confirmed to participate in the '2026 Weverse Con Festival' in Seoul on June 6-7 and the 'Allo Bank Festival' in Jakarta, Indonesia, on June 20.
