SHINee's Onew Dominates Charts Worldwide with 'TOUGH LOVE' Comeback

SHINee's Onew has made a triumphant return, topping charts both domestically and internationally with his latest release.

On October 9th, Onew released his fifth mini-album, 'TOUGH LOVE.' The album quickly soared to the number one spot on iTunes Top Album charts in nine countries and regions, including Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Indonesia, Japan, Chile, Taipei, the Philippines, and Hong Kong.

Thanks to its global chart success, 'TOUGH LOVE' secured the third position on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart. The title track of the same name, 'TOUGH LOVE,' also gained significant popularity, reaching number one on Bugs TOP100, a major music site in South Korea, shortly after its release.

The mini-album 'TOUGH LOVE' breaks away from conventional love stories, weaving together various facets of love encountered in the world, much like a novel. Onew participated in writing the lyrics for all the tracks and, for the first time since his debut, contributed to the composition.

Onew is set to perform the title track 'TOUGH LOVE' on Mnet's 'M Countdown' on October 12th, marking his return to music shows after nearly three years. To celebrate his comeback, Onew is hosting a pop-up store and collaborating with KakaoT, engaging in both online and offline promotions to maintain the excitement surrounding his return.
