ENHYPEN Dominates Charts with New Album 'THE SIN : VANISH'
According to Hanteo Chart, ENHYPEN's (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Ni-ki) mini 7th album 'THE SIN : VANISH' sold a total of 2,075,056 copies in its first week (January 16-22). This marks their fourth 'double million-seller' album.
The group first achieved 'double million-seller' status with their 2023 mini 5th album 'ORANGE BLOOD'. Following this, their full-length 2nd album 'ROMANCE : UNTOLD', mini 6th album 'DESIRE : UNLEASH', and now 'THE SIN : VANISH' all surpassed 2 million sales in their initial release periods, showcasing their solid popularity. Notably, 'ROMANCE : UNTOLD' has exceeded 3 million in cumulative sales.
ENHYPEN's album success extends overseas as well. 'THE SIN : VANISH' debuted at number one on Japan's Oricon 'Daily Album Ranking' (as of January 21). This achievement means all 13 of their albums released in Korea and Japan have topped this chart. Since their debut, ENHYPEN's total album shipments have reached approximately 22.4 million copies.
'THE SIN : VANISH' has also maintained the top spot on Line Music's daily 'Album Top 100' for five consecutive days (January 17-21) and topped the weekly chart (January 14-20). The album's tracks have been well-received globally, as evidenced by its success on the 'Worldwide iTunes Album' chart.
The title track 'Knife' is also gaining traction. ENHYPEN won a trophy for 'Knife' on Mnet's 'M Countdown' aired on January 22. The group expressed their gratitude, saying, "We're happy to present this carefully crafted album to ENGENE (fandom name). Thank you for your support and love. We'll continue to work hard in 2026 with the energy we've received today."
Riding the momentum of their 'M Countdown' win, ENHYPEN is set to begin promotions for their follow-up track. They will perform 'Big Girls Don't Cry' on KBS2's 'Music Bank' airing today (January 23).
