BLACKPINK's Rosé Dominates Global Charts with 'APT.' Featuring Bruno Mars
THEBLACKLABEL announced that Rosé's duet with Bruno Mars, 'APT.', has been named Apple Music's Song of the Year. It also topped the Billboard 2025 'Global 200' and secured the 9th spot on the 'HOT 100'. Additionally, the track claimed the top spot in the domestic music category and 6th in the global music category on TikTok's '2025 Year in Music' chart.
Rosé's pre-release single 'APT.' from her debut album 'rosie' sparked a global phenomenon upon its release in October last year. It set a new record for the longest-charting K-pop song on Billboard's 'HOT 100', staying on the chart for 45 weeks, and its music video surpassed 2.2 billion views on YouTube. The track, which dominated 2024, continues to break records in 2025.
Through 'APT.', Rosé made history by becoming the first K-pop artist to win the Song of the Year at the '2025 MTV Video Music Awards', one of the four major American music awards. She also made history by being nominated for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the prestigious Grammy Awards, marking the first time a K-pop artist has been nominated in two main categories.
Rosé is actively engaging with fans through BLACKPINK's solo concert 'DEADLINE' world tour and continues to expand her influence.
