BTS Captivates Global Fans with Diverse Performances Ahead of 'ARIRANG' World Tour
Starting on the 27th of last month, BTS unveiled the choreography practice video for their title track 'SWIM', followed by the music video and choreography video for the track '2.0', and the music video for 'Hooligan'. The performances, tailored to the character of each song, showcased their wide-ranging stage presence. With the choreography practice videos and music videos garnering high view counts ahead of their performances, anticipation is building for their world tour starting on the 9th.
In 'SWIM', the group expressed the introspective lyrics through delicate movements, adding subtle points to emphasize mature emotions within a natural flow. In contrast, '2.0' and 'Hooligan' feature intricate group choreography. '2.0' is characterized by the weight of the movements and precise control of tempo, exuding a relaxed atmosphere as they synchronize their moves. The group choreography in 'Hooligan' centers around the energy created with dozens of dancers, enhancing immersion with sophisticated gestures and intense movements.
The YouTube view counts for the main videos also showed impressive results. The performance videos for 'SWIM' and '2.0' surpassed 6 million and 4 million views, respectively, within a day of release. The 'Hooligan' music video exceeded 8 million views in less than 24 hours. The 'SWIM' live clip, nearing 10 million views within a week, continues to maintain its popularity and buzz.
The 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' kicks off on the 9th at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium. This tour is designed to allow fans to experience the members' performances from multiple angles with a 360-degree stage. All 46 shows, including those in Goyang, Tokyo, North America, and Europe, are already sold out. Approximately 2.4 million fans in North America and Europe alone are eagerly awaiting the performances. BTS plans to hold a total of 85 shows during this tour.
