SEVENTEEN's Special Unit S.Coups and Mingyu Top Japan's Oricon Chart with 'HYPE VIBES'
SEVENTEEN's special unit, S.Coups and Mingyu, is gaining significant popularity in Japan.

According to the latest chart released by Japan's Oricon on September 30, S.Coups and Mingyu's mini-album 'HYPE VIBES' debuted at number one on the 'Daily Album Ranking' on its release day.

The album quickly climbed to the top of iTunes Japan's 'Top Albums' chart and secured a high position on Apple Music Japan's 'Top Albums' chart. The title track '5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman) (feat. Lay Bankz)' also ranked high on Line Music's real-time and daily charts.

Additionally, the album sold over 600,000 copies on its release day (September 29), setting a record for the highest first-day sales for a K-pop unit album. It also topped iTunes 'Top Albums' chart in 16 countries and regions, reached 6th on the 'Worldwide iTunes Albums' chart, and climbed to 4th place the following day, September 30.

The title track '5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman) (feat. Lay Bankz)' hit number one on Bugs' real-time chart upon release, and all tracks from the album charted on Melon's 'Top 100'. The music video also topped the 'YouTube Music Video Trending Worldwide' chart.

Anticipation is building for S.Coups and Mingyu's performances. The pre-released title track challenge video has been viewed over 180 million times. Fans can catch their new song performance today (October 2) on Mnet's 'M Countdown'.
