Stray Kids Shine at Popular Culture Exchange Committee Launch with Stellar Performance

Stray Kids took center stage at the launch of the Presidential Committee on Popular Culture Exchange, delivering a show-stopping finale performance.

On October 1st, Stray Kids performed at the Popular Culture Exchange Committee's inaugural event, representing K-pop as a symbol of cultural exchange. The group was specially invited to the event, highlighting their global influence.

President Lee Jae-myung introduced Stray Kids as "a pride of our culture, being the first in the 70-year history of the Billboard 200 chart to achieve seven consecutive number-one albums." The group captivated the audience with a grand intro that fused traditional elements, performing their hit songs 'Thunderous' and 'God's Menu' in a unique Korean traditional music version. Their flawless live performance and commanding stage presence thrilled both the live audience and global fans watching the broadcast.

Members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N expressed their gratitude, saying, "We sincerely congratulate the launch of the Cultural Exchange Committee. We are thankful to be part of this honorable occasion." They then joined forces with the Taekwondo demonstration team K-TIGERS and a lion mask performance to deliver a collaborative performance of 'CEREMONY,' the title track from their seventh Billboard 200 number-one album 'KARMA,' celebrating a new leap in Korean popular culture.

Stray Kids have reaffirmed their status on the U.S. Billboard charts. Their fourth studio album 'KARMA,' released in August, ranked 18th on the Billboard 200 chart as of October 4th, maintaining a top 20 position for five consecutive weeks, a first for the group. On the 'World Albums' chart, it held the top spot for five weeks, marking the longest-running number-one K-pop album released in 2025. The title track 'CEREMONY' also made history by staying on the 'Hot Dance/Electronic Songs' chart for over five weeks, the second-longest for a K-pop song.

Stray Kids are set to hold their solo concert 'Stray Kids World Tour ' on October 18-19 at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. This concert marks their first solo stadium performance in Korea and is part of their largest world tour '.' Tickets for all shows sold out quickly, including additional seats that were opened.
